IAN Millward is tipping Stuart Donlan to go right to the top. The 21-year-old Leigh full-back has been in devastating form all season as the Centurions have marched into the top five in the Northern Ford Premiership.

"He might look a slight lad but he's got all the skills and the character to succeed," confirms coach Millward.

"It's his solid play from the back that's giving the team great confidence. He's unflappable under the high ball, his defence is solid and he knows when to join the attack.

"If he continues to improve at the rate he's done this season, the sky's the limit for him." Although Leigh have won three from four league games and are fourth in the table, Millward is keeping his feet firmly on the ground.

"I'm pleased with the start we've made but this is a marathon not a sprint and nobody is getting carried away.

"It's clear the players are enjoying their football now and I think the fans are starting to appreciate it as well.

"At Rochdale on Sunday we had a great following. It would be nice if the improvement on the pitch is mirrored by increased attendances at Hilton Park. We are making progress on that score, but if we could get the attendances up the atmosphere would be brilliant. "We'll need all the help we can get against Featherstone this weekend because it's another tough challenge for us. Don't forget they were Grand Finalists last year and were only a couple of minutes away from Super League before being pipped by Wakefield.

"And the clashes between Timmy Street and Hitro Okesene and Brendan Tutta will register on the Richter Scale! Strap yourselves in for this one."
