Support officers

During the course of the recent consultation on the reorganisation of police resources Little Lever Labour Party emphasised the need to retain such officers. With the advantage of serving for several years within a community they are able to gain a detailed knowledge of any criminal activities and potential trouble spots. Residents also have the confidence to communicate information which can help to defeat crime.

These officers deserve all the support which residents can give. They cannot succeed alone. The whole community has a part to play in defeating crime and creating the secure environment which we all desire.
