DETECTIVES are invesigating the death of a man discovered slumped in a toilet cubicle at a Farnworth pub.
The man, who has not been officially identified, was found dead in the gents toilets at the Moses Gate pub, Bolton Road.
The alarm was raised after another customer spotted him and contacted the licensee. Ambulance paramedics were sent to the scene at 9.15pm on Saturday but the man was already dead.
Detectives are investigating his death but a police spokesman said: "There are no suspicious circumstances at this stage."
A post mortem examination was due to be carried out later today.
