LEIGH singer Caroline Lowe, who became soul star Lisa Stansfield for last year's Stars in their Eyes, is about to step into the spotlight again.
The 24-year-old semi-professional singer is to represent Lancashire in the Vaux Entertainer of the Year final, being held in Middlesbrough.
Caroline's unusual choice of songs by Cher, Olita Adams and Bjork won her a place to the brewery's final on Thursday, February 25, after competing in one of three regional semi-finals at The Ship, in Manchester.
The competition, now in its third year, began with 270 musical, comedy and speciality acts around the North.
Caroline's talent shone through - she has a diploma in performing arts and loves her music - and she now sees her with a chance of winning a two week holiday in Tenerife with £500 spending money.
