MICROLAB Services in Bury has been awarded a major accreditation for its microbiology testing services.
The firm, which undertakes testing for many well-known food and drinks companies in the UK and Europe, is delighted with the award from UKAS Accreditation.
Former Farnworth Grammar School pupil Joanne Grundy, who is joint managing director with Peter Kerfoot, said of the award: "We have worked extremely hard to achieve this award which will enable us to expand our business and create new jobs."
