A BOLTON student is hoping to go to Tanzania this summer - to help carry out research in one of the poorest countries in the world. Jemma Holmes, 18, now studying Geography at Liverpool University, wants to play a role in the town's development once she has her qualifications. And the trip to Tanzania is being organised as part of her degree course. It is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a pioneering water, health and sanitation project - if she can raise £1,200 to pay for the trip.
Jemma, who is seeking sponsorship from local companies, said: "I want to put something back into the community but I can possibly raise this amount without help."
