ACE winger Jason Robinson is in line to play a key midfield role in the Super League leaders' clash with the London Broncos.

The Wigan Warriors flyer impressed on several occasions last season when filling in at stand-off and coach John Monie was happy with his display in the final quarter of last Sunday's victory over Halifax Blue Sox.

"I am happy with the way he went there but I have other options to consider," said Monie who has yet to finalise his line-up.

The enforced change has arisen because of stand-off Henry Paul's absence for Sunday's televised clash at Central Park. The talented Kiwi received a late call-up for the New Zealand side that takes on Australia on Friday night.

Robinson's impressive displays have earned him the club's player-of-the-month award for March.

Other awards went to Gary Connolly and Danny Moore who shared the defensive prize, while Kris Radlinski took the big play award for his tackle on Saints' winger Anthony Sullivan at Knowsley Road.

Alliance player of the month is Paul Johnson, with Neil Baines winning the most improved player. Mark Smith took the academy section with Chris Farrell the most improved player.
