POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a motorist involved in two crashes abandoned the car.
The Ford Orion collided with a Ford Granada in Buckley Lane, Farnworth, but the driver drove off. About five minutes later the Orion collided with a Nissan Micra on Crescent Avenue, Farnworth.
The driver then abandoned the Orion and ran off.
No one was injured. Anyone with information about the incident just before 7.30pm last night should call police on 0161 872 5050.
