SIR: As a pensioner, I feel I must put pen to paper to express my surprise at the attitude of the Conservative Party these days.
Under Mr Major, we got a couple of extra pounds, when the temperature fell below freezing for a week. Thanks a lot!
Mr Blair may not be perfect, but at least he found the money for a £40 top up, that went on my pension the other week, to help with my gas bill.
I have been a loyal Conservative voter in the past, but not any more. I've realised that you are never too old to change your mind!
