BUSINESS Link Bolton & Bury has appointed a new chairman.
He is Mr Richard Yates, managing director of Bolton-based Yateson Engineering, stainless steel suppliers and fabricators.
Mr Yates, who was born in Blackburn, has worked in Bolton for 30 years.
He succeeds Mrs Joan Spours, managing director of The Design Company at Stoneclough.
Mr Yates' company used Business Link's Personal Business Adviser service - and he was impressed.
"I've used the services and they definitely work," he said.
"By taking on this role it means I can put something back into an agency which has helped me. Organisations such as Business Link survive and prosper only with a two-way partnership."
