SIR: It is clear as each day passes that William Hague must reveal the strings attached to the Tory drug donation. He claims that the Tories would not accept any donations with strings attached, yet newspaper reports show that a letter from the Asian donor's family asks for money to be returned, because the Tories had not met their side of the bargain.
Mr Hague must now explain exactly what promises were made, and why he claimed no commitments were made. In fact he should donate the money to a drugs-related charity.
