BOLTON and District Hospital Saturday Council is singing the praises of the local Business Link.
Personal Business Adviser Andrew Magee from Business Link Bolton & Bury has spent 18 months helping Hospital Saturday formulate marketing and strategic plans.
The company specialises in providing low cost medical, health and dental schemes for individuals and companies throughout the North-west, such as Bolton Council and United Utilities. The Business Link involvement is said to have "totally transformed" performance, leading to enhanced products, increased benefits for members and a significant increase in business.
Mr Peter Green, Chief Executive of Hospital Saturday, said: "Andrew Magee has been knowledgeable and helpful throughout our relationship and I am delighted with the outcome."
The exercise has also led to a joint venture with another of Mr Magee's clients, Watson Laurie Sinclair Ltd, a fast-growing, independent insurance broker based in Bolton.
Hospital Saturday members are now guaranteed "a substantial reduction" in the cost of their motor insurance.
Mr Mark Allanson, Business Link General Manager, said: "Both Hospital Saturday and Watson Laurie Sinclair are proof of the benefits Business Link can bring to fast-growing organisations in the area."
