SIR: Having seen your article 'Busy Horwich Resource Centre' hits back and missed J Cooper's original opinion and letter, I felt so incensed by his obvious ignorance about the excellent work done by Sue Stockton and staff, that I felt obliged to write to your column.
The Resource Centre has provided the people of Horwich with premises where they can participate in and run an amazing selection of clubs for all ages. It is also the best thing to have happened in the town for a long time.
It is obvious J Cooper is talking through his hat, but what is also noticeable, there was no mention of an alternative or suggestion for improvement.
I wish we had more resource centres all over Bolton.
