A CAT owner from Westhoughton is anxious to find her straying tom cat which disappeared with serious cuts on its face.
Desperate Karen Kay is worried that her black and white cat, which went missing on Sunday from her James Street home, could be in considerable pain because of its injuries.
The cat, which is one year old, had just come back from a visit to a nearby vets after suffering scratches and bites to its face following a fight with another cat.
And Karen fears the fighting wounds may now be badly infected after being unable to give the cat injections prescribed by the vet.
It is the first time the cat has gone missing from its home and Karen suspects it may have been taken in by an animal lover who may be treating it. Anyone who can help is asked to contact Karen on 0956 969 987.
