A MAN released from prison in August after a six-year sentence for robbery appeared before Bolton magistrates yesterday.
Graham Mitchell, aged 51, pleaded guilty to obtaining £48 by deception from a pawnbroker by claiming a cheque was a good one.
Nicholas Ross, defending, said that after being released from prison, Mitchell's life had been chaotic but he was now living in a hostel in Eccles. He was bailed until January 15 for a probation report.
