SIR: I would like to answer Dr A Kravitz on fluoride and the state of children's teeth.
I will take him to any street, back street, estate or park and he will find the answer as to why 90 per cent of children's teeth are bad.
Chocolate, toffee, crisps, canned pop, plastic bottled fizzy pop, litter the streets of Bolton.
Sweets are given in place of meals not because they are deprived. All children have free dental care.
We're told the British are the biggest sweet eaters in Europe. That's your answer, doctor. We, the public, do not want fluoride chemicals in our water. When the health authority or Dr Kravitz pay our water bills, then they may have a right to say put fluoride in the water. Until then, keep out.
