A BEAUTIFUL, hand-made doll is the latest addition to the Mayor's Parlour in Bolton.
The unusual gift is from Hitachi Automotive Products Europe Ltd - the Japanese company which is building an £8 million factory near to the Reebok Stadium in Horwich.
Managing director Akira Miyamoto and colleagues were welcomed to the Parlour by the Mayor of Bolton, Cllr Peter Birch.
The gift cemented good relations which have developed as a result of the major assistance made available to Hitachi by Bolton Council and its partners.
Phase 1 of the new development will be completed at the end of January and it is expected to be in full production during the summer.
