SIR: May I draw attention to the pedestrian path, in front of the new sports equipment building on Bradshawgate - just after the 'old' Comet store.
The pavement is extremely dangerous, if you take a step onto one paving stone, the stone goes down at least two inches, then any pedestrian's foot and leg gets full of mud etc. Why is this happening?
Also, on the precinct, the same thing happens. Surely the council should make sure that the correct foundation is laid, before the paving stones are set in place.
The public should report any mishap, or accident, they may have, to the Council Highways Department.
After all, we, the public, pay quite a lot of money on our council tax bills towards this service.
