A LOCAL company has honoured employees who have contributed a total of 225 years service. The East Lancashire Paper Mill Company Ltd held a commemorative dinner for nine people who have notched-up 25 years each. Chief Executive Andrew Rothwell presented them with a special gift and certificate during the evening at Bolton's Moat House Hotel.
The recipients were: Machineman Donald Bailey, Wrapperman Albert Lemon, Palletiser Operator Pat Towers, Sheeterman Anthony Wren, Reelerman Derek Baxter, Packaging Materials Operator Bernard Fielding, Grandi Risme Operator George Ainsworth, RPP Leading Hand George Matwiejew and Shift Technician Keith Swarbrick.
Also present were the Radcliffe mill's Production Director George Farrell, Finance Director Mark Jones and RPP Mill Manager Bill Goodier.
