TWO North-west chartered accountancy practices have merged but will continue to use their own names.
The combined accountancy and business services department is to be headed by Barbara Shuttleworth at the Quayside, Salford head office of Frenkel Topping, with Chadwick and Hassell continuing to operate from their Leigh offices.
Anthony Spiler, senior partner at Chadwick and Hassall, said: "We were looking for a suitable practice with which to merge in order to increase our range of specialist accountancy services.
"We feel confident that, with Frenkel Topping, we are well-placed to meet the challenges we see ahead in the 21st century."
Chadwick and Hassall was established in Manchester more than 50 years ago and expanded into the Leigh office in 1965.
