ONE of Southlands High's success stories paid a visit to the school after carving out a career in the land of the rising sun. Andrea Cowley, 31, whose parents still live in Chorley, is now product manager for Cable and Wireless's Asian division in Hong Kong after spending four years in Tokyo.
The 31-year-old, who took business studies and languages at Bath university and received an MA in business studies at London's Cranfield school, gave a talk to pupils on the benefits of working abroad.
Southlands deputy head Brian Souter said: "Andrea spoke very well about her experiences. The pupils really enjoyed it and there was a good question and answer session."
