BOLTON Institute have taken exactly the right line when animal rights' campaigners planned a demonstration at the college's Deane campus. Instead of blustering about the rights and wrongs of animal research, they have, instead, arranged a meeting with the protesters.
The Institute has repeatedly denied accusations of animal experiments. Opening the doors and inviting in protesters to talk and, possibly, see for themselves sounds like commonsense.
