SIR: Although I agree with K Heyworth (BEN October 1) that there are much, much stronger words than the word "pillock" used in our society today, and especially from children, I am sure Graham Baxter is aware of this. However, we should try to discourage children and adults from using this sort of language.
I also think that the BEN should set an example by not printing words such as those on the front page of their paper, because most people do find them offensive.
