TEMPERS were lost in the Bury dressing-room at Stoke on Saturday but midfielder Lennie Johnrose reckons it is a good sign for the future.

"Losing like we did hurt us badly and a couple of the lads had their say," confirmed Johnrose.

"It all got a bit heated but it shows how much we all care about the club and our performances.

"What was said was said constructively and once we got back on the coach it was all forgotten."

Bury made it six games without a win but Johnrose reckons the dip in form will be only a temporary blip.

"We deserve to be in the First Division and we aim to prove that by the end of the season," he said defiantly.

The Shakers will complete the signing of 26-year-old Jason Peake later today. He trained with the squad on Friday and is due to have a medical this afternoon.

Peake, who costs the Seagulls £120,000 from Rochdale, has not played a first team game for seven months, but will hope to put himself in line for a debut at Swindon on Saturday.
