LEIGH have major injury problems ahead of Sunday's crucial promotion battle with table-toppers Rochdale Hornets.
Coach Keith Latham has been forced to delay final team selection until tomorrow with half a dozen players still on the treatment table.
Almost certain non-starters are back row forward Paul Daniel and teenage centre Paul Blackburn. Also under treatment are Safraz Patel, John Gunning and Andy Pucill, but the trio are expected to have recovered in time for the Hilton Park showdown.
Winger Dean Purtill and hooker Shaun Bannister will come back in after work commitments ruled them out of the victory at Bramley on Wednesday.
Australian second row forward Matt Nixon is also ear-marked for a return after being missing for four weeks with a ham string strain.
Leigh have completed the signing of ex-Salford standoff Andy Fairclough from top amateur club Wigan St Patricks.
Fairclough is likely to have forced himself into Sunday's first team squad after playing a key role in the Reserves' 24-18 win over Wakefield Trinity last night.
Fairclough scored one of Leigh four second half tries as they overturned an 18-4 deficit to collect a fourth win in their last six games.
