TWO men were hurt when a car left the road and ended up wedged between two trees in Westhoughton at 9.15pm last night.
The Peugeot 205 Gti is believed to have struck the kerb on Chew Moor Road near Bolton Road before hitting a fence. Both men were treated and taken to the Royal Bolton Hospital by paramedics. Brett Parker, 23, of Blackthorne Close, Heaton, suffered a broken leg and facial cuts, and Ewan Johnson, 23, of Greenmount Lane had severe bruising to his chest. Witnesses should call police on 0161 872 5050.
