CRAIG Lavelle will captain the Bolton League side on Sunday in place of the injured Tim Wallwork.
Lavelle is handed the opportunity to lead the side for their first defence of the Lancashire inter-league trophy against the Saddleworth League at Farnworth.
And the selectors have turned to another existing member of the team, Paul Berry of Kearsley, to fill Wallwork's wicketkeeping role.
That left a much wider choice of replacements to make up the side and the selectors have opted for Farnworth SC's Matthew Parkinson, who will form a twin spin attack with the left arm Michael Crookson.
