AROUND 500 North-west employees of Wigan-based Shearings are being offered the chance to buy a stake in the holiday business.
Offer documents for shares in Shearings' parent company Leisureplus Ltd were issued yesterday to staff at the Wigan HQ, the company's coach interchange at Stretton, Warrington and hotels in Llandudno and Windermere.
The share offer follows the management buy-out of the company from the Rank Organisation for £83 million.
