ATHERTON LR have appointed Gerry Luczka as the club's new first team boss.
The former Rossendale United player replaces Dave Morris who has moved on to Unibond Division One side Flixton.
Luczka had two seasons at LR serving under Morris as first team coach in the NWCL Division One double championship wins and hopefully that experience should stand the club in good stead after relegation from the Unibond League.
Joining Luczka as part of the new Crilly Park back room staff will be former Atherton Colls joint manager Steve Walton and much travelled goalkeeper Ian Senior.
