SIR: This is a copy of a letter I sent to Bolton Wanderers" Football Club.

"I wish to convey my disappointment at the way you as a club have once again treated loyal season ticket holders.

"I am a family season ticket holder and it was quoted that there would be 'a price freeze and like for like seating when moved to the new stadium'. I am perhaps being naive in presuming this meaning if we were sitting on the fourth row from the front at Burnden Park we will be sitting likewise at the Reebok Stadium. But no this is not what was meant by your quote. We fans must be silly not realising what you really meant was that the family stand at the new stadium will be on the top tier only and people who stood in the Manchester Road and Burnden terraces are to be seated on the lower tier.

"Last season a friend and his family bought a family ticket for four every match. He has given me £510 to purchase a season ticket for them all for the new season and I have been told that when old season ticket holders are moved to the new ground there will be no more seats left for new family season ticket members. I would have thought that now you have a nice new stadium you as a club would be looking to the future. I would have thought that the only way that this can be done is to attract more families with children to Bolton Wanderers.

"Is it a case of if you want to sit where you were before cough up or sit where you are put and shut up?

"There is no way that I can afford the extra £300 plus to sit where I and my family sat at Burnden Park.

I feel sick to the pit of my stomach that BWFC could do this to their loyal fans and unless this situation can be turned around it pains me to say that we will be making it our last season and therefore be known as armchair supporters.

So please reconsider."
