SIR: Following two successful years, the Lichfield and District Writers 1997 Short Story Competition, is now open for entries. This year's adjudicator is author and creative writing tutor Nick Daws.
Prizes are increased this year to £125, £75 and £25 for first, second and third places respectively and a certificate of achievement goes to all short-listed entrants.
