SENIOR midwife Kath Dugdale and health care worker Carol Howarth of Bolton's special care baby unit received a cheque for £500 from North West Area Thai Boxing champ Craig Fitzsimmons and Sandy Holt, the Triple and British European Champion.
Young Thai boxing enthusiasts Gavin Fitzsimmons and Levi Partington were also on hand.
The money was raised by a sponsored sit up, and was donated to the unit at Bolton General Hospital because Craig was treated there when he was born weighing in at 1lb 12oz.
