CITY FC returned its winning ways in the Pioneer League second Div with a very impressive 3-1 win over Peel Arms, Richards, Hall and Wood all on target for City and Callan replying for Peel.
A Ludlove hat-trick gave Great Lever their first away win of the season heating White Lion BL 6-2. Astley Bridge also got their first win of the season with a victory over Samson by the some score, Fogg scoring a hat-trick for Astley Bridge.
Farmers Arms and Miners Arms fought out a seven goal thriller in the first Division with Miners coming out 4-3 winners, the vital good coming in the last minute through Fitton.
Romac Systems collected valuable points with a close 2-1 win over Bowling Green and Shamrock beat Seddons by the same score, Fish and Smeeton scoring for Shamrock.
