SIR: It was with horror I read in the BEN of the gay 'wedding' in our lovely Town Hall. (I am grateful it wasn't in a church).
I hope at the next elections the people in Cllr Gerald Riley's area will remember what he stands for. It is nothing to do with a fairness policy, it is a question of morality and right and wrong.
As for the Rev Peter Brindley, if he reads his Bible he will see it says to those in authority they will have to give an account of their actions, when they stand before God on the Day of Judgement as indeed we all will. Perhaps he doesn't believe the Bible. I do and I wouldn't like to stand in his shoes. I have enough sins of my own.
