COLIN Todd has made a move to get a better view of Wanderers' promotion prospects.
The Burnden boss, who has been a touchline fixture since he joined the club four years ago, has taken to watching matches from the stand.
He sat in the stand at Port Vale, only switching to the dugout after Tony Naylor's 72nd minute equaliser.
And he showed amazing self-control during Tuesday's pulsating Burnden derby, watching the entire game from his seat in the directors' box - apart from a quick dash to the tunnel for an impromptu 63rd minute conference with Phil Brown.
"I've quite enjoyed watching the games from up there," Todd explained. "It gives you another picture of the way things are going."
