WIGAN expect to finalise the £300,000 sale of Martin Offiah to London Broncos and rugby union club Bedford today, writes David Magilton.
The flying wingman expects to make his debut for the Broncos against Warrington on Sunday, but has said his chief ambition is to play for England at rugby union in the winter.
Meanwhile Wigan's two Kiwi stars will be making guest appearances for top English rugby union clubs. Henry Paul is expected to sign for Bath and Va'aiga Tuigamala for Wasps during the close season.
Wigan coach Graeme West will not be begging skipper Shaun Edwards to return. The scrum-half, who made himself unavailable through injury after being told he would be on the substitute's bench, didn't turn up for weight training yesterday.
"I didn't see him at training, we will have to see if he turns up today. I have nothing to clear with him. He knows the situation," said West.
