SIR: I think that it would be an excellent idea to make the old railway embankment in Kearsley into a road for HGVs going to the Lyons Industrial Estate. How local residents have put up with waggons thundering up, down Pilkington Road, not to mention vibrations and the structural damage they can cause, I will never know.
I'm all for it.
