The world's full of ups and downs,
It's giving people many frowns.
There's not a lot to smile about,
There's not much hope, plenty of doubt.
Our minds are constantly amazed,
To see and hear of people crazed.
Enough to shoot down one another,
Such a Brother! Such a Brother!
'Man's inhumanity to man',
Is what they've called it.
But - hold on! We can't be totally to blame,
We're products of ancestral Eve,
And would you have us then believe.
She's not to blame, it's all on Adam?
In that case, then - just 'Call me Madam'. Albert Kirkman, Chorley New Road, Bolton
