CAMELOT, already receiving huge profits, is being allowed to earn interest on unused prize money.
According to a national newspaper report today, M-Bamelot has earned £4.4 million in interest on cash set aside for Instants prizes. Because there has been a slump in sales of the scratch cards, there are fewer winners and a large pool of unused prize money has grown.
Instead of Camelot making more profits for no extra work, any unused prizemoney should go to charity.
