Bolton League have the oppportunity of the perfect rehearsal for next week's Lancashire inter-league semi-final with the Lancashire County League.

The side that will line up for that game will meet the Manchester Association tomorrow in the annual friendly challenge between the two sides.

The match will be played away but in actual fact is on the doorstep at Bolton CC's Green Lane ground. The starting time is 2pm.

The Bolton League's representative side manager Jeff Todd feels the game has come at just the right time for his team.

"It gives us another chance to get together before the inter-league match and that is no bad thing.

"We have made one change to the side because of Tim Barry's hamstring injury and Craig Duxbury has come in. That has led to us jiggling the side about a little and the game against the Manchester Association will help us see if we have got the balance right."
