SIR: I'm sure that many young people like me will have been left worried and confused over the latest news about BSE - Mad Cow Disease, and now they are looking for answers.
I'm the youth contact in Bolton for VIVA The Vegetarian Charity and we have launched a BSE Helpline backed by top scientists doctors and experts. They will answer your questions regarding safe things to eat etc. (01270 522500).
If you live in Bolton you could look out for our information stall on Victoria Square most Saturdays. we can provide leaflets on the BSE issue and other animal issues such as live exports, and will be happy to help. You can write to VIVA at PO Box 212, Crewe, CW1 4SD.
