FORMER chef Karen Jones has been appointed Manchester Area Manager of Weight Watchers (UK) Ltd.
Karen, aged 40, who lives in Middleton, trained to become a Weight Watchers leader in 1990 after following the programme.
Since then she has run up to 16 meetings a week in Manchester, Oldham and Bolton.
In her new role she will oversee more than 200 Weight Watchers meetings and supervise more than 40 leaders in her area, which also includes Bury, Rochdale, Salford and Ashton-under-Lyne.
