TV personality Mrs Merton was today opening a new executive accommodation wing and extended conference and banqueting facilities at a Manchester hotel.
Comedienne and actress Caroline Hook was performing the lunchtime ceremony at the four-star Victoria and Albert, the flagship hotel in Granada's Theme Parks and Hotels division.
The new accommodation wing includes 25 additional rooms, bringing the total up to 156.
