ACCRINGTON Stanley manager John Coleman has urged his players to move on from Saturday's disappointing draw.

The Reds could only manage a point against mid-table Gravesend, leaving Coleman frustrated at two points dropped at home.

But boss Coleman sees their home game against Hereford United on Friday night as the perfect chance to put it behind them.

"You've got to win at home," he said.

"No disrespect to Gravesend but they shouldn't be living with us at home. At times they didn't in the first half.

"We shouldn't be in a situation where we're chasing the game with a minute to go at home. That game should have been dead and buried long before.

"We had two great chances late on and we had a great chance to make it 2-0.

"But we didn't play well on Saturday.

"I was disappointed with our performance, but we still had enough, I thought, to win."

Coleman also berated the performance of the officials at the Interlink Express Stadium.

"I think the game was ruined as a spectacle by the officials. It was stop start, stop start," he said.

"The referee told me he likes playing avantage and yet the amount of inoccuous fouls that were given defied belief. The amount of offsides that were given that weren't offside defied belief - for both sides.

"I think the fans would have been better going round to the officials' back garden and watching them."

He added: "We can't govern what the match officials do but we can govern what we do, and that's all that we can be concerned about.

"It is frustrating and sometimes you vent your frustration. But we didn't play anywhere near like we can. We didn't pass it enough, we let the wind affect us,.

"We didn't have that spark and we need to get that back quickly."
