MEMBERS of the Shuttleworth in Ramsbottom Women's Institute ended their annual general meeting with some spooky fun.
The ladies, who meet at Ramsbottom Civic Hall, held a competition to win a model of a ghost in time for Halloween, along with a silent auction, and donated the proceeds to the institute funds.
The officials were re-elected with president Mrs Kathleen Bailey resuming her role along with Miss Ann Stephenson as secretary, Mrs Erica Belfield as treasurer and Mrs Kathleen Ormrod, Mrs Sheila Magnall and Mrs Dorothy Gunther as committee members.
The next meeting will be held on Monday, November 7 at 7.30pm at Ramsbottom Civic Hall with an aromatherapy demonstration from Donna Sweeney.
