A KIND hearted beauty therapist raised nearly £3,000 on a gruelling charity bike ride.
Sharon Julien, who works with husband stylist John at John Julian International in Chorley Old Road, Bolton, has just returned from the 250 mile ride through Egypt for Women For Women - a fertility health group.
Sharon, aged 47, was joined by pal and distant relative Lorraine Julien, aged 36, of Darwen who raised a combined total of more than £5,000.
Sharon said: "It was a fabulous experience, very difficult but very worthwhile.
"We began the five-day ride in Esna on the west bank and ended going through the Valley of the Kings. I'd like to thank all my friends, family and clients for their kind donations."
