THERE will be two Opera Gala evenings in the Great Hall at Smithills Hall this weekend.
The first gala will take place on Friday followed by the second on Saturday.
Both evenings will begin at 7.30pm with mulled wine and mince pies, with the concerts starting at 8.00.
During the interval, canapes will be served whilst guests will be able to purchase drinks from the wine bar.
The internationally established opera singers will present a mixed popular programme of operatic arias, duets and ensembles.
The proceeds from both evenings will be donated to the Santa Jviaria Romania Charity, which works in Romania to improve conditions for children.
Tickets at £15 each are available for both Opera Galas from Elizabeth Tatman.
