WIGAN ATHLETIC RESERVES 1 WANDERERS RESERVES 0: Injured Ivan Campo and Nicky Hunt both came through a full 90 minutes but couldn't prevent the Reserves from losing 1-0 to Wigan Athletic.
The pair, who have been on the sidelines since September after suffering leg and foot injuries respectively, showed no ill-effects from their injuries but were unable to help their team-mates cancel out Josip Skoko's first-half opener.
However, they have given manager Sam Allardyce a timely boost ahead of a frenetic sequence of first team games over the next couple of months.
