music lovers with an ear for historical songs composed in Rossendale two centuries ago are reminded about a special concert this weekend.
The Larks of Dean Quire will be performing music composed between the 1740s and 1860s at Hawkshaw Parish Church on Saturday at 7.30pm.
Tickets for the Christmas concert cost £5 and are available from the village shop or from Sue Byrom on 01204 883110.
