BUSINESS owners are being urged to apply for grants to increase security.
The East Bolton Regeneration fund is offering grants of up to £3,000 for small and medium firms to bolster security at premises.
The fund will pay for up to 70 per cent of work recommended by police crime reduction advisors.
More than 40 businesses, ranging from shops to manufacturing units, have so far been granted money.
